Models own buy

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone has been enjoying the sun. Just wanted to do a quick blog post on one of my new buys. I wanted to try a different make of nail polish that I haven't used before. I had heard that Models Own was a good brand to use, and came out really well so I thought I would give that a try. I went to my nearest Models Own bottle store which was in Stratford Westfield because I knew they would have a bigger range.

I loved the Models Own bottleshop they are really funky and enjoyable to shop in. I was not disappointed in the range they had! If my sister did not stop me, I would have left with half of the place!

These are the colours I went for

I was happy with the offer they they were doing in the bottleshop too! If you bought 6 nail polishes you only had to pay £20 and considering that each bottle is worth £5, I am happy with the saving of £10.

What do you think? Are you a Models Own fan? Let me know your thoughts below.

Roger & Gallet Collection

Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted, I've been quite busy with everything.. but I'm back! :)

Today, I want to tell you about a project I was invited to by a company called Roger & Gallet. They wanted me to check out the new layout of their site that they latched, & give my thoughts and ideas about the website. As a reward for doing this, Roger & Gallet sent me some samples and a product of my choice. On the website, I liked the sound of the Bois D'Orange Eau Fraîche parfumée.

Eau Fraiche

I really like the scent of the perfume! It's very light and refreshing! It's not too overpowering, and I think it's a nice scent for the summer! I like the 30ml bottle, because it's travel size, so it's perfect to fit in your bag, and you can just spritz now and again! I like the spiciness of the perfume.

You can see more of Roger & Gallet's products at Roger-Gallet.com , they have a wide variety of fragrances, lotions, soaps & more!

Hope you're all enjoying the heat ( while it lasts!)

If you want me to blog about anything, just comment down below, or tell me your favourite product from Roger & Gallet! :)

White nails with gold dots

Hi everyone,

Just making a post at my other attempt of trying nail art. After my last horrid attempt I thought I might go for the more simple look of gold dots on the nails. For this I used an unbranded white nail polish and one of my favourites Barry M gold glitter.

The results were better and I got compliments for the nail art so I am quite happy with this attempt.  Here are the results.

What do you think? Can anyone give me some advice on nail art?

Enjoy the day

Veet EasyWax kit

Hey everyone,

As the sun was out today I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to write a blog post about a product I have received.

As I have said before in my about me section I am a Bzz agent. This means that now and again I receive products for free and am asked to review them. Recently I received Veet's new EasyWax kit. I had seen the product on TV and was interested in how well the results would turn out from the product.

I have never waxed before so was wondering how painful the process would be. I can gladly say that it did not hurt as much as I thought. I was pleased with the results but I thought the kit would be a little better. On the kit it suggests a heating time of 20 mins but you need about 30 to 40 mins to get the best results. It did leave my legs feeling soft and smooth but I would not spend £29.99 on the product (full price in Boots and Superdrug). If the product was half the price then it would be a product I would consider buying. Check out the results of the kit.

If you are interested in this product I as a Bzz agent can offer my blog readers a 50% discount code on Amazon. Just enter EASYWAX4 by the 30th June 2013 into the promotional codes and gift card box (T&C's apply)

Enjoy

Beauty UK green nail polish and Barry M gold glitter

Hey everyone,

Just making a blog post on my new nail art that I have tried out this week. Recently on twitter I won a competition from Beauty UK on a range of there summer nail polishes. I thought this week I might try out one of the colours. I decided to go with the green because I thought it was not as bright as the others and suited the weather. I wanted to try a bit of nail art on my nails as well. The two colours I used were Beauty UK's green and Barry M glitter gold.

First of all I did a coat of the Beauty UK's green nail polish it came out quite thick on the nails so another coat wasn't needed. I then used one of my dotting tools with Barry M gold glitter to add gold dots on the nails. Here were the results...

The dots did not stand out as much as I expected but I still love the glitter.

What do you think about glitter nails? Are you in love with them as much as i am?

Maybelline color show polka dots

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I tried one of my new nail polishes that I had bought a couple of weeks ago. This was Maybelline color show polka dots.

On mind when buying the products, I was having doubts on how thick the polish would be or if the polka dots would cover all of the nails or if it would only come out with tiny specks. I was happy to see that on the first coat of polish that the texture was a little thick and came out beautifully on the nail and the polka dots covered most of the nail. Here are a few pictures of the nails after two coats of the nail polish...

I love the new Maybelline color show collection and keep adding it to my collection every week and at £2.99 per nail polish where can you go wrong.

Johnson & Johnson Exfoliating Wash

Hey everyone, hope everyone enjoyed their day. Just wanted to make a blog post on a product that I am loving at the moment.

My facial skin type is dry so I am always on the look out for different facial scrubs that I feel work well with my skin. I am also quite sensitive to certain products so it makes it harder for me to find a scrub that works well, but not anymore. I went into Superdrug a couple of weeks ago to look for Johnson's face care range which had received good reviews on certain sites. I wanted to see for myself if it could live up to the expectation. I ended up buying Johnson & Johnson Exfoliating Wash 150ml which was £3.09.

I am glad to say that after a week (only used twice in the week) of trying the product I can definitely say it did. Straight after using the scrub it left my skin feeling soft and fresh. Normally with facial scrubs the next day I wake up with dry patches on my skin even after using night cream, but this did not happen with Johnson's so I was very pleased with this purchase. I would suggest this product to anyone who suffers with dry skin or just wants a good facial scrubs as it can be used for all skin types.

Glitter Nails

Hi everyone, hope everyone is enjoying the rest of their weekend. Just thought I would make a quick blog post on the nail polishes that I tried out this weekend.

I recently went on a trip to Primark and came across their nail polish range. I was sceptical at first on whether they would be of good quality but I thought I would give it a try. In the set that I chose, there were three different shades of blue plus a blue based glitter nail polish all for £2.

On my nails I thought I would use the darker shade of blue to complement the blue glitter nail polish.

I was quite surprised about the thickness of the nail polish, I thought that I may need two or three coats to get the colour I wanted but one was enough. For the glitter nail I did use the blue colour as a base coat then added the glitter on top (two coats were used). Here are the results...

I would recommend the nail polish to anyone, I certainly will be going to buy another pack and getting a four pack of nail polishes for £2 where can you go wrong.

Enjoy the rest of your evening

Rock Hard Nail Effects

Hi everyone,

This is now my second blog-post on my site but the first that is actually going to focus on a beauty product. So let me tell you about what I found in boots today. I wanted to try something new with my nails and at the moment the weather is not putting me in the mood to use some of my summer colours. I had heard good reviews about matte nail polish so I wanted to see if I could find any in-store. Then I came across this...
Boots brand Seventeen rock hard nail effects. There were a few colours to choose from including black, grey and blue. I wanted to add a bit of colour on the nails so I decided to go for blue.

As I was in a bit of a rush I did not take time to read the bottle properly and in my own head though it was just plain blue matte nail polish, but no I had stumbled across something better. On the first coat I started to notice a bumpy texture developing on the nails a few seconds after putting it on. It was then when I read the back of the bottle that I discovered that it was matte textured nail polish. I love the effect that it created on my nails. To get the full effect of the matte textured nail polish I would suggest doing two layers. Here was my finished result...
I think this was a great buy and I might try some of the other colours in-store to. I know Barry M also have textured nail polish in pastille colours so I may also give that a go for summer.

Enjoy your day,
